Customize your charity stream with donation alerts

On Fundky LIVE, you can add alerts that appear on-stream when someone donates to your LIVE campaign.

What’s a donation alert?

A donation alert is a message that appears in-stream for a short period of time when someone makes a donation to your campaign.

No matter what type of LIVE event you’re hosting (video game stream, show, class, etc.), donation alerts can be added to all charity streams from an external OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) software.

By using an external broadcasting software, you can broadcast your charity stream on Fundky LIVE, but also on YouTube, Facebook and Twitch to collect even more donations!

Adding an image

Alert Settings

With the Alert Settings, you can customize a bunch of other elements of your donation alerts. If you’re using an OBS software to broadcast your stream, you will also be able to see the alert arrive on your end before it appears on your charity stream.

Why use donation alerts?

Alerts are primarily for informational purposes. When a donation is made, the streamer and their audience are informed of the donor’s name and the amount of their donation (unless the donation is anonymous). The campaign thermometer is also seen increasing.
